Have you always wanted to contribute to society? Are you yearning for a meaningful working experience in an NGO? Join us at Enfants du Ningxia and give children from poor rural families in Ningxia province the chance to attend school!
Our association is looking for motivated individuals who are willing and ready to dedicate some of their time in helping the Beijing team on some specific missions:
- Communicating with the expatriate community: raise people’s awareness about our work, through events and campaigns in international schools, clubs or associations. This can be done through photos exhibitions, concerts, fairs, conferences or any innovative means that you will come up with.
- Fundraising: help us to get support from foreign companies by establishing partnerships.
- Communicating with our scholars: if you speak Mandarin, you could help us to follow up on our students by translating their letters or emails and giving them phone calls from time to time.
- Filing and secretarial work: you do not feel like putting yourself in contact with Beijing’s firms and clubs but still want to join us? You can help us to do some very useful office work: updating documents, setting up a functional database, and so on.
The work should not take you more than three hours a week. We only ask that you be motivated, creative and serious, as well as fluent in English. Knowledge of Chinese or French is also strongly appreciated! The time and place of your work is at your own choosing, but you will have to report your progress to us on a regular basis.
